About The Space

Luxury Tent in the WNC Tree Tops

Welcoming to the adventurous couple, friends, or a solo traveler looking to reset in nature, take advantage of outdoor activities and explore the area- this tent at Elk Hollow is an exceptional central location to experience the region.

The tent has an open and spacious feel with a relaxing ambiance. The decor is fresh and inviting, with playful pops of turquoise and burnt orange. In the center of the tent is the living area with a loveseat and chair to kick back on- perhaps watch a movie on the flatscreen TV or look out the French doors to the wooded backdrop while you sip a cup of coffee.

The pitched roof and ceiling fans overhead move the air about for a breezy setting, while the glass doors and numerous windows invite plenty of natural light.

Or, if the weather is wet, tuck in on the covered seating area with a ceiling fan overhead to keep the air moving and the bugs at bay.

This tent is set up on an elevated section of Elk Hollow, making the views stunning and the setting feel like you are roosted in the treetops looking down.

Due to the elevated location of the tent, it is recommended that guests have an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle for the climb. Alternatively, there is an option of a parking area 1/4 mile below, but you’ll want to be in excellent walking shape for the climb up!

Living Room

The swanky open-air living area is the perfect place to hang out and catch up over wine or settle in for a movie on the Smart TV. Patterned easy chairs and a butter-soft leather couch offer comfort along with an elegance you would never think possible in a tent. The ceiling fan with light provides a breeze on nights when the A/C isn’t needed and glass panel doors let the sun peek into the space and make it feel warm and inviting.

Kitchen & Dining

Behind the sitting area is the fully equipped kitchen with plenty of cabinetry, a full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas range, and oven. Guests will have everything for easy meal prep and can enjoy a meal at the bar-height bistro table for two in the living room or outside on the deck.

Bed & Bath

On one side of the tent is the bedroom area with a plush king-size rustic log bed, designated workspace, ceiling fan and light overhead. The wrap-around windows open to screens so you listen to songs of nature lull you to sleep, or you can unroll the canvas for a dark and cozy room.

On the other side of the tent is the full bathroom and dressing quarters, where a curtain can be closed for added privacy. There is a stand-alone soaking tub, spacious walk-in rain shower, and large vanity with sink and mirror.

Outdoor Sitting and Patio Areas

This property has exceptional outdoor living space that highlights the setting. The string lights set the mood and provide plenty of light. Prepare a meal on the stainless grill, or stoke a campfire in the firepit.

The enormous wrap-around platform deck features a hot tub- the perfect place to soak after a long day of hiking. Sip a glass of wine and look up at the night sky.
