Hard-Walled Yurts for Two
These yurts offer extra insulation and a luxurious soaking tub for a more private experience.
- Hidden Falls – Washer/dryer, no steps to the deck, but the steps and path to the fire pit are steeper.
- Tumbling Brook – Washer/dryer, covered hot tub, steeper steps to deck (23) & fire pit (25).
- Laughing Water – Moroccan décor, washer/dryer, covered hot tub, long and steeper path/steps to deck (26) & fire pit (6).
Double Date Getaways for Four
Designed for two couples, these accommodations feature two master ensuites with king-size beds.
- Spicewood – Hard-walled yurt with two master ensuites (no soaking tub), washer/dryer, no steps to the deck, steps to fire pit (5) (located across the street, requiring a longer walk).
- Foxfire – Safari tent with two master ensuites, washer/dryer, longer pathway with steps to deck (29) & fire pit (5).
Luxury Family Cabin for 10 – Lookout Lodge
A spacious family-friendly retreat located in the Alarka Highlands area of Bryson City (about 13 miles from downtown, 30-minute scenic mountain drive).
Perfect for families, this cabin features:

Sleeping Arrangements:
- 2 Master Ensuites – King-size beds (one on the main level, one upstairs).
- 1 Queen Bedroom – Near a hall bath.

Children
We adore children, but Elk Hollow Resort is designed for romance, honeymoons, and anniversaries, making it best suited for adults.
- Safari tents are not as soundproof as hard-walled yurts.
- We do not provide childproofing or cribs.
- We may accommodate older, well-behaved children upon request, especially when:
- All nearby accommodations are rented by the same family/group.
- The tent is more secluded.
