โ A safari tent built for two, where the soak is the whole point.
Aztec is a canvas safari tent at Elk Hollow, set on a private elevated deck in the trees. It’s the themed tent: rust, gray, and teal, Aztec patterns, warm rugs, and soft light. Quiet by design and shaped around slowing down together.
This is glamping, not camping. The walls are canvas, but the comforts aren’t: a full kitchen, a real spa bath, heat and AC, a washer and dryer, WiFi, and keyless entry. You’ll fall asleep to rain on the canvas and wake to birds, which is the point.
The signature is the double soak. A private hot tub off the deck looks straight into the Smoky Mountains, and inside there’s a spa-style soaking tub with a tiled rainfall shower beside it. Soak under the stars, soak out of the weather, soak twice in a day.

โฅ WHO IT’S FOR
Couples. Anniversaries, honeymoons, or a long weekend with your phone in a drawer. It sleeps two and is quiet by design, so it’s a getaway, not a party house.
๐ GETTING HERE
Normal cars are fine, no 4WD and no white-knuckle climb. Five minutes from downtown Bryson City, right by the Deep Creek entrance to the Smokies. The deck is elevated, about eight steps up, easy for most but worth knowing if stairs are hard for you.
โณ GOOD TO KNOW
It’s a safari tent, so the walls are canvas. You’ll hear the rain, the birds, and a bit more of the outdoors than you would in a cabin. It’s glamping with a full kitchen, spa bath, and heat and AC, not roughing it, but the canvas is real and worth picturing before you book. Most couples call it part of the reset.
